Last week, Fabián Acosta became the exclusive Tango-Club Country Partner in Argentina. He will cover all Tango events in Argentina and Uruguay and be the first contact for all Argentine Tango teachers, event organizers and all other businesses related to Tango Argentino.
Fabián Acosta was born in Buenos Aires, speaks Spanish, German, French, Italian, and English and has been dancing almost all his life. After studying Ballet, Jazz and Folkloric Dances, he found his way to Tango. He studied Tango with such teachers as Antonio Todaro, Juan Carlos Copes and Carlos Rivarola.
Fabián has worked many years as Choreographer and Show Dancer and has been touring through the United States, Japan and several European countries. After several years of touring he now decided to settle again in Buenos Aires with his wife and dance partner Marión Acosta. Together they opened the Tango Hotel Apassionata in the Congress District of Buenos Aires.
Fabián has already gotten to work and started updating the Buenos Aires event calendar. He says: “At first it seems like an impossible task to capture the variety of the Tango of activities in Buenos Aires. So we start covering the most important Milongas and Practicas and once the Spanish version of the website is online, we invite all Organizers from Buenos Aires to contribute to the Calendar. Also – we want to have a full coverage of all the Argentine provinces – there is so much Tango to discover in Argentina.”. Bienvenido al equipo – Fabián!
